Our DJ Camps are designed to teach kids about the history of DJ’ing and the Culture. Through the period of instructions they learn about how it all got started, the pioneers, how it has evolved and how they too, can become a DJ. In this program they learn:

• How to count music
• About the equipment DJs use
• How to set it up the DJ equipment
• Terminology
• And are exposed lots of over 350+ different genres of music.

Through the course of this 5-day Camp, they learn, have fun and at the end have a friendly competition to show off the skills they’ve learned. You really have to be there to see how excited the kids get with this Camp!

Throughout the DJ Camp, we do like to take photos of the kids in the learning environment with DJ Square Knot, other DJs and celebrities who may come through. Release forms will be provided if permission is granted. The photos are used for the purpose of sharing on the website, marketing materials, partners, funders, and most importantly, the kids and their families.
